After finishing my medical college and working as a medical Officer for 6 years, I started my career in Psychiatry. I Completed my residency in psychiatry from KUMC and Medical College of Pennsylvania, I did my fellowship in psychopharmacology from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. I have authored several articles, abstracts, and case reports. During my fellowship, I held a faculty position as an instructor at the Wayne State University. I started my professional career as a staff psychiatrist at VA Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri in 1987. I held a faculty position as an Assistant Professor at KUMC, while working at VA medical center. I moved to West Bloomfield, MI in 1991 and started my solo private practice in Livonia, MI. I closed my private practice in 2021. During my private practice, I held several part-time contractual positions in different fields of psychiatry gaining variety to my experience. After 2021 I worked as a Locum tenens psychiatrist until 2025. In 2025, I started my own solo Telepsychiatry practice and stopped Locum Tenens work. I have experience in Telepsychiatry since 2020. I have extensive experience working in out-pt, in-patient and consultation psychiatry. I only treat patient 18 + and Geriatric patients. I am a Borad Certified Psychiatrist. I also obtained certification in Geriatric psychiatry.

I established my practice based on judicious use of psychopharmacology in combination with psychotherapy. I like to hear my patient and design individualized treatment plans with proper attention to medical issues and lab investigations, especially for patients, who are on medications. My initial evaluation is for 60 minutes and follow-up appointments are for 30-45 minutes depending upon patients need.
After completing post graduate in Arts. I worked as and then took a break. In1995? I started working as a biller for Dr. Jain. Around 2000, I became office manager and also did billing and scheduling. I have continued to work with Dr. Jain since then. I also work with Ophthalmology clinic. I like managing office work as well helping patients with compassion and understanding. I take pride in my job
